Milltek Hi-Flow Sports Catalysts
Your original catalytic converter will typically have 400 or 600 cells per square inch (cpsi), these original cats are restrictive in their flow, typically allowing an open area of around 55-65%.
A Milltek Sport Hi-flow Sports Cat which will be fully integrated into a large bore downpipe, has only 100-200 cpsi depending on application. These cats have an open area of between 75-85%, thus reducing back pressure substantially and increasing flow rates, all very desirable for extracting more performance, especially on turbocharged engines

This is a must have bolt on mod for any tuned / remapped 1.8T engine.
The superior Forge Motorsport 007P DV / closed loop dump valve will provide crisper gears changes, faster turbo spool, less turbo lag, boost held stronger.
Stock engine will need to use the green spring
Spec1 tuned engines will need to use the yellow spring
Spec2 & big turbo applications will need red spring and shims.

The Forge alloy FMIC intercooler kit is the perfect solution for optimising the power output on a modified MK4 Golf 1.8T or if you simply wish to help the longevity of the mechanical components. Whilst the quality of the original side mounting intercooler is excellent on a standard car, you can be pushing it beyond its design criteria with greater pressure and flow rates on a modified car. We have designed our Front Mounting Intercooler kit to give greater thermal reductions on those vehicles running a simple software upgrade or those with larger turbochargers.
